Join Gillette College Workforce & Community Development, in collaboration with Area 59, for Workforce Wednesday’s three-part series designed to make generative AI practical, approachable, and useful for everyday life and work.

Session 1: Understanding AI & Using It Safely (October 28th) — FREE (Sponsored by the GCCD Workforce Department)
Learn what generative AI is, what it can and cannot do, and how to use it responsibly. Through demonstrations, a panel discussion, and hands-on activities, participants will explore practical ways AI can assist with everyday tasks while learning about privacy, accuracy, and safe use.

Session 2: AI for Productivity (November 11th) — $50 for Sessions 2 & 3

Build on the basics by learning how to communicate more effectively with AI and get better results. Practice using AI for writing emails, summarizing information, brainstorming, organizing projects, creating checklists, and solving everyday work and home tasks.

Session 3: AI Tools & Creativity (November 18th) — $50 for Sessions 2 & 3

Explore different AI tools and discover how AI can be used for research, image creation, and other creative projects. Participants will create a personalized AI workflow they can continue using after the course and have the opportunity to enter a raffle drawing for an Area 59 class.
