Join Gillette College Workforce & Community Development, in collaboration with Area 59, for a Workforce Wednesday three-part series designed to make AI practical and approachable. Learn how to use generative AI for everyday tasks through demonstrations, hands-on activities, prompting, productivity tools, creative projects, and more.
Session 1 (October 28th - 5:30 - 7:30pm) - FREE (Sponsored by GCCD Workforce Department) In this session, explore what AI is, what it can do, how to use it safely, and how it can help with everyday tasks through a panel discussion and hands-on activities.
Sessions 2 & 3 (November 11th & 18th - 5:30 - 7:30pm) - $50 for both. In these sessions, build on your skills by learning how to write effective prompts, use AI for productivity, research, organization, and everyday problem-solving, and explore creative AI tools for generating images and other content. In Week 3, create your own AI project and develop a personalized workflow you can continue using after the series; participants will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle drawing for an Area 59 class.
